About the Stone
Despite the name, Bumblebee Jasper is not a jasper but a volcanic sediment from Indonesia, coloured by sulphur. Polished pieces carry a coating, like malachite, and are safe to handle.
Wearing & Care
Sterling silver tarnishes slowly in air; a silver polishing cloth keeps it bright. Put it on last, after perfume and lotion, and take it off for showers, swimming and sleep. Because of the sulphur, never use it in elixirs, gem water or as a yoni egg. Polished pieces are safe to wear and hold; if you handle a raw piece, wash your hands after. Keep it out of water and heat. Cleanse it with sage or moonlight.
